GUIDE ACADEMY

Training Quality Guides for 40 Years

At Guide Academy we aim to be the leading provider of services for guide education and certification, setting the standards of quality and contributing to hundreds of thousands of enriching experiences along the entire coast of Norway each year.

Guide Academy is a long term educational development project. For 2025 the Guide Academy programme is based on the best practices and curated content of the education programmes of Voss og Fjordane Guideservice and Norwegian Guide Service.

We believe that guides are the key to a memorable experience for guests visiting Norway. The way in which guides ensure that they are able to provide guests with unique and enriching experiences is by being memorable storytellers, trustworthy leaders, reliable team players, and loyal ambassadors.

Our task is to empower guides with the knowledge, understanding and skills related to each of these roles while fostering a deep connection to Norway’s heritage, landscape as well as the specific region the guides specialise in.
